Sony’s Days Of Play 2020 Summer Sale

The world seems to be stuck in an endless cycle of bad news, but at least video games are a suitable distraction.

Sony’s annual Days of Play summer sale offers gamers the opportunity to enjoy quality software for affordable prices. From June 3-17, the PlayStation Store and different third-party retailers will host deals on different PlayStation games, subscriptions, and accessories. This year’s Days of Play offers some of the best PS4 exclusive games for only a fraction of their normal cost. Exclusive Sony publications like Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, God of War, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition and The Last of Us Remastered have slashed their prices by 25% to 50%.

In addition, one-year subscriptions to Sony’s PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now services are priced at only $42—a significantly cheaper price than the usual $60.

The PlayStation Plus deal gives access to an online multiplayer mode so you can play with friends. The PlayStation Now offers 800 different games—like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus—to be instantly played on PS4 and PC at the deal’s lowest price since its inception.

Unlike the 2019 Days of Play, this year’s Days of Play is not offering any deals on hardware like controllers for the PS4 or PS4 Pro. While there aren’t as many impressive offers this year, gamers shouldn’t be discouraged. You can still get a wide variety of games without the high prices.

The sale is a swan song of sorts for Sony’s PS4—the company’s last deal before the console is forgotten once the new PS5 is released on Nov. 20.

This year’s Days of Play summer sale should entice any gamer who is using a PS4 to keep them entertained during these troubled times.
