MDC Homestead Campus To Host Series Titled: Let’s Talk About It: Muslim Journeys

The Miami Dade College Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace, has been awarded a grant by the National Endowment For The Humanities and The American Library Association to host a five-part lecture series titled: Lets talk about it: Muslim Journeys.

The five series will take place at the campus library in Room D-101 throughout the spring 2014 term. During the events, books and movies that contain Muslim history will be discussed and analyzed.

Iqbal S. Akhtar, an assistant professor of religious studies and politics at Florida International University, will lead the discussion at each session.
