Women’s History Month Exhibition

The Hialeah Campus library, 1780 W. 49 St., building 2, Room 2229, will host a women’s history month exhibition through March 30.

The exhibition will honor and feature women that have achieved high accomplishments and occupations. Images, biological information and books on these women will all be featured in the Learning Commons at the Hialeah Campus library section for students and the public to see.

The event is free and open all day during the operating hours. The library is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Alejandra Zimmermann

Alejandra Zimmermann, 19, is a mass communications/journalism major in the Honors College at Kendall Campus. Zimmermann, a 2015 graduate of G. Holmes Braddock Senior High School, will serve as a staff writer in the briefing section of The Reporter during the 2015-16 school year. While at Braddock, she served as a section editor at the GHB Times. Zimmermann aspires to become a journalist for The New York Times.
