Wolfson Archives To Show Building Miami Uncut

The Lynn and Louis Wolfson II Florida Moving Image Archives at Miami Dade College, 300 NE 2 Ave. Room 8401, is showcasing a screening of Building Miami Uncut on April 9 at noon.

Featured in the film is the Roaring Twenties, when Miami began to establish itself and many people felt the need to document its rapid growth. The screening is part of the Wolfson Archives’ REWIND series meant to enlighten, entertain and surprise viewers.

“REWIND screenings reflect the history of Florida, particularly South Florida, and thus encompass many people’s lives and a range of cultures across demographic groups,” said Kevin Wynn, Public Programs Coordinator at the Florida Moving Image Archive.

The free screening is open to the public.
