Ammy Sanchez, a business administration major in The Honors College at North Campus, has been promoted to forum editor of The Reporter.
Sanchez, who joined the newspaper last September, has written for the forum, briefing and news sections.
“I’m honored and grateful to be considered a good fit for this position,” Sanchez said. “I am extremely excited for what’s to come.”
Sanchez was born in Goiânia, Brazil, in 2003. When she was nine, Sanchez moved to Miami. She has also lived in Guayaquil, Ecuador.
The 18-year-old graduated from Hialeah Gardens Senior High in 2020. She aspires to work in human resources.
