Side By Side By Sondheim To Be Performed At Kendall Campus

The musical revue, Side by Side by Sondheim, will be performed at Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104th St., Room 6120 from July 19 to July 21 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

The performance is part of On Stage, the Kendall Campus concert series. The rendition will be produced and performed by Miami Dade College music, theater and dance majors and faculty.

Side by Side by Sondheim is a Tony Award-winning musical that is a compilation of work by composer-lyricist Stephen Sondheim.

The show is free and open to the public. Seating is based on a first come first serve seating basis.

“The brilliancy of this show is the wit, the cleverness, the interaction and the two hours of relaxation,” said professor Leo Walz, who is directing the revue. “It’s a concert about relationships: boyfriends, girlfriends, marriages and all of that. The simple complexity and memorability of the music makes the show so profound.”
