New World School Of The Arts To Present Theater Festival

New World School of the Arts will showcase their annual The One Festival from Dec. 16-18 at 7 p.m. via Youtube.

The festival will feature a collection of fifteen-minute plays written, directed and acted by 15 senior students. It aims to give students the opportunity to propel themselves into the theatre industry and learn how to engage with the audience.

Five plays will be presented each day.

“Our job is to give the audience a rollercoaster experience,” said Patrice Bailey, NWSA’s dean of theater. “Theatre is about the human condition, it is about exploring and taking us on that journey of that human condition and how we connect to it.”

The festival is free and open to the public.
