Wright, whose first day was on Aug. 3, is responsible for assisting the dean of students to assure that student’s needs are met.
“Whether good or bad, people always recognize how you’ve made them feel,” Wright said.
“For myself, making sure that [students] walk away better than [they] came in is the most important thing.”
For the past eight years, Wright has served as the Single Stop program coordinator for the North Campus, the Eduardo J. Padrón Campus, Medical Campus and the Carrie P. Meek Entrepreneurial Education Center. She also assisted the director of retention and transition services in designing enrollment strategies.
