Honors College Graduate Interns At The Libra Group

Nirma Beatriz, 20, a recent InterAmerican Campus graduate, was awarded a paid internship with the internationally renowned Libra Group. The business corporation has a presence in six continents.

Beatriz began her internship on June 6, working at the luxury five-star hotel and resort known as The White Barn Inn, located in Kennebunkport, Maine.

“I realized that classes weren’t enough,” said Beatriz, a business major. “I needed more exposure to what’s out there.”

Beatriz graduated this spring from the Honors College Dual Language Program at InterAmerican Campus with a 4.0 GPA. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill this fall.

During her time at IAC, Beatriz served as acting president of the advertising club and vice president of Phi Beta Lambda.
