Students can apply to become an Andrew Goodman Vote Everywhere ambassador until June 12.

Each year, two students from each participating campus—Kendall, Wolfson and North Campus— are chosen.

Ambassadors will help educate Miami Dade College’s community on voting rights through campus-wide events and registering voters.

Applicants must dedicate 10-15 hours a week to the fellowship, which lasts from August through May of 2021. Ambassadors will be paid $500 per semester.

Students must be enrolled in at least six credits at MDC to apply and during the fellowship.

The program is part of a nationwide initiative through the Andrew Goodman Foundation that  promotes voting rights and voter education.
