Reimagine Challenge 2020 Offering $25,000 Scholarships

Applications for the Reimagine Challenge 2020 scholarships are available until Sept. 25. It recognizes innovative community improvement projects.

A maximum of 20 entries will receive up to $25,000 in tuition scholarships and will be published in an online anthology. The institution attended by the recipients will also be granted  $25,000.

Students must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution and be over the age of 18. 

The initial application consists of a 1,200 written proposal about “Sparking a Global Movement” or “Community Impact from COVID.” Selected participants must submit a more extensive proposal that can be up to 12 pages long and be accompanied by a video or graphical component.

Luisana Ortiz

Luisana Ortiz, 17, is a dual enrollment student at the West Campus. Ortiz, who is a senior at Ronald W. Reagan/ Doral Senior High School, will serve as a staff writer for The Reporter during the 2020-2021 school year. She aspires to be a staff writer for The New Yorker, a cultural and literary magazine.
